Oshiomhole: Why Buhari Hosted APC Senators In Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari played host to senators and senatorial candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Monday night.

Also present at the meeting was Adams Oshiomhole, the APC National Chairman.

Speaking to newsmen after the event on why the APC senators and senatorial candidates contesting on the APC platform met the president, Oshiomhole said: “Basically, the meeting was for the President to meet with the caucus of the Senate and the APC senatorial candidates.

“The whole idea is for the president to have a direct interaction with the senators and the senatorial candidates of the APC.”
