The All progressive party Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced the adoption of Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate in Oyo state, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, as her gubernatorial candidate for Feb 28 elections. 

NINETEEN GIANT BOMBS DISCOVERED ALONG BUSH PATH IN ADAMAWA

 
Nineteen giant bombs have been discovered by the Adamawa state police.
According to the police, the bombs were found hidden in a bush in the state.
It was gathered that the bombs were ready to be detonated by suspected suicide bombers in some strategic places of the state capital.
The State’s Police Commissioner, Gabriel Adeji, confirmed the bomb-haul in Yola and uncovered inside the bush of Song Local Government area of the state.
He noted that the police had been trailing the activities of the insurgents following media reports last week that some suspected members of the Boko Haram sect were planning to bomb  the state capital.

The students of Ayangburen Primary School, Methodist Primary School and Oga Primary School, yesterday assembled in front of its administrative building to canvass for support for the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming elections.

They were all shouting, 
“Mummy, Daddy, APC ni e d’ibo fun” meaning, “Mummy, Daddy, it is APC that you should vote for”.
The representative of the Party at the compound where the schools are located, Jumoke Benson, wife of Jimi Benson (a Federal House of Reps Candidate of the party) was moved by the students’ support for the party and promised the children that her husband would do more once he is elected. 

"APC! APC” she chanted to a loud roar of “Change!” by the students   

“This is just the beginning. When Jimi Benson wins the election, you shall be made more comfortable than what you are presently seeing. We are really grateful for your support,” she added.

PVC COLLECTION: LASG DECLARES WORKFREE DAY TODAY FOR ITS PUBLIC SERVANTS




The Lagos State Government Thursday declared Friday a work-free day for its workers just as the State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN, enjoined private Sector employers to release their workers early to enable those of them who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card to do so in their various Polling Units.

The Head of Service, Mrs. Oluseyi Williams, who gave the directive in a statement, said the State Government was desirous of ensuring that all public servants in the State participated in the voting process adding that they should take the opportunity to go out and collect their cards at their Polling Units.

Silver Spoon Kids Led By IBB'S Son, Aminu Babangida Take Over Board of Unity Bank


Aminu Babangida the 37yr old son of Nigeria's former military head of state General Ibrahim Babangida is one of the many silver spoon kids representing their family interests in Unity Bank.


He has been on the Board of Unity Bank since 2011 when he was just 35yrs old. Aminu boasts of a fat educational background,a product of Regent Business School,London and Westminster Business School London where he bagged BA in International Business and MA in International Business Management respectively.
