Popular yoruba actor,Sikiru Adeshina better known as Arakangudu is dead. The versatile actor according to sources passed on yesterday after he was said to have experienced heart attack. He will be buried in Oshogbo today.
We could not ascertain if he had any medical conditions that could have triggered the attack that led to his sudden demise.
Arakangudu until his death had relocated to Kaduna. His remains is already being transported to his hometown in Oshogbo for the interment according to Islamic injuction . His family's reaction to his death was unavailable as at the time of publishing this report.
Yomi FashLanso, Director of Publicity of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) said "This sad news of the death of Arakangudu is most devastating. It is a rude shock to all of us. We will ensure that he is celebrated even in death. He was a respected professional who has contributed immensely to the movie industry. He is not one to be forgotten in a hurry. We pray that God will grant the family and all of us his professional colleagues the fortitude to bear this great loss.
