All anti-corruption agencies are advised to beam their search lights on Ifo Local Government of Ogun state as there are allegations of multiple fraud allegedly perpetuated by the council boss,Oluwole Enilolobo running into millions of naira. According to some aggrieved councilors, the chairman has been paying N47million as salaries for the workers in the council every month, and recent findings shows that salaries accrued by the council is actually N37million naira, so, the chairman is being accused of syphoning N10million naira every month since inception.
There was a particular mention  about the monthly allocation for august last year, 2013 , of N50 million naira that was diverted to a personal account in Zenith Bank.
Now, there are allegations of N900 million Naira of the Local Government that has developed wings and can’t be traced. Just recently, members of the Campaign for Democracy and Human Right group were said to have visited the council headquarters in Ifo, asking for an update of the Council expenditure, and till date, nothing has been provided by the executives.
Understandably, there are wide speculations of the  council boss buying properties in Abeokuta and environs with  a mention his colleague in Abeokuta South Local Government of purchasing similar properties. Also mentioned is that some leaders and a commissioner are in the know about the scam, mentioned are Alhaji Bello, Muyiwa Oladipo and Alhaji Okewole.
