Thugs invade Lagos APC rally, stab two

Scores of supporters at an All Progressives Congress rally in the Oworonshoki area of Lagos State on Monday fled as thugs invaded the rally, stabbing two youths in the process.

Uduaghan Laments 700,000 unclaimed Permanent Voter Cards in Delta State

Not less than 700,000 unclaimed Permanent Voter Cards are lying fallow at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Delta State.

The development is disturbing to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan who made the disclosure during the campaign rallies of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Uduaghan emerges Silverbird's Man of the Year

The Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has emerged the Man of the Year of the Silverbird Group.
The emergence of Uduaghan was announced on January 1 by the Silver Bird Group.
Part of the consideration for his emergence was his sterling performance in health signposted by the free medical care for children and the elderly as well as the free maternal care for pregnant women.
There is also the micro-credit scheme where over 111,000 Deltans have been empowered to set up their own businesses.
