Ekiti 2018: Ojudu Arrives London Confers With Ekitis in Europe

After a  declaration event that held the entire Ekiti State spellbound, leading  All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant  in the July 14 Ekiti governorship election, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, (SBO), has arrived the United Kingdom to further his consultations with Ekiti indigenes in diaspora,  this time those currently resident in Europe
Ojudu had thrown his hat into the Ekiti governorship race under the banner of the APC in an elaborate declaration that recorded a large number of loyalists at the Ekiti State capital city, Ado, on March 9, 2018.

He left the country for the United Kingdom as a follow up to an earlier trip to the United States of America, in his quest to woo Ekiti indigenes in diaspora about his intention, explain his manifesto as well as solicit the collaboration and partnerships for the development of the state.
In the current trip, Ojudu will be declaring his intention to run as well as showcase his mission into the Ekiti State government house at Divine Rescue Community Hall, Thurlow Street, London on Saturday.
Already, the journalist turned politician has arrived the country, holding several meetings with Ekiti indigenes on how to salvage the state and rescue it from on-going governmental ineptitude.
Coordinator of the Ekiti Rebirth Organisation, ERO, the campaign arm of ‘Ojudu 2018’, Akin Badeji, (aka Dr Lee),  said the event has been painstakingly planned to bring all Ekiti indigenes in the UK and  other parts of Europe  under a roof to listen to Ojudu speak on his agenda for the beleaguered state.
He noted that members picked Ojudu to come and present himself as well as read out his manifesto to them, sequel to enquiries into the past of all aspirants coming under the banner of APC for the Ekiti gubernatorial contest, of which he came top.
Badeji stressed that the Ekiti indigenes in the UK has resolved to ensure that the election turn well for Ojudu both in the primaries and in the election coming up in July.
