We spend our life searching for love, affection and commitments. But what if the love you have been looking for is right before you and you just didn’t see it?. Oyinkansola Elebuibon took us on a beautiful and yet very twisted love adventure in her new movie titled “Itan Bi Temi, a story like mine.”
Shot in Osogbo, Osun State, the home state of her popular father, High Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon, the Araba Of Oshogboland,” Itan bi Temi” weaves together the stirring true story about love and friendship between Iyiola (Oyinkansola Elebuibon) a spoilt brat and Niyi (Lateef Adedimeji) her best friend. Also, Bimpe 9,played by Bidemi Kosoko and Wale as played by sensational hip hop rave, (LKT).
Whether you are in love or not, you are bound to recognize the twisted love between these characters. Iyiola and Niyi are two souls who became even closer when Iyiola lost her parents (Toyin Adegbola and Aina Gold). The friendship between Iyi and Niyi was tested when Niyi developed interest in other women and Iyi also took interest in Dapo played by Yomi Fash Lanso , who came into town on a business visit.
Even though they both took different route in looking for love, they eventually find their way into each other arms for there is nothing sweeter than a friendship turned into love.
The suspense in the movie is not lost and for those who feel the passionate desire to love and beloved,this movie will linger on in their minds. Presently at its post production stage,the movie is expected to berth and major cinema halls in Nigeria and abroad before its eventual release into the open market.
