DANIEL MOURNS EX-LG BOSS, CHIEF TIWALADE SOBO

The former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has expressed shock over the death of former Chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Chief Tiwalade Sobo who bid the world bye in the early hours of yesterday.
In a release signed by Ayo Giwa,  his Media Officer,
Otunba Daniel was  greatly depressed to learn of Otunba Tiwalade Sobo’s death who he described as a foremost politician, an astute administrator and a brilliant strategist with uncommon depth and patriotism.
' The death of Otunba Sobo is indeed a personal blow to me as it is disheartening to lose one of the finest gentlemen, intellectuals and patriots who, in different capacities, served the Gateway State selflessly and diligently. His tenure as the Chairman of Ikenne Local Government between 2004 and 2007 was a landmark going by the legacy of notable achievements which will stand to his eternal credit and honour. Otunba Sobo died at a time his wise counsel would have been needed most to move the Gateway State forward'.
'His effervescent life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.  His poise, urbanity, finesse and loyalty in the conduct of politics will be greatly missed in the political circles. He will remain in our hearts forever.
As my heart goes to the immediate family and the people of  Irolu in Ogun  State over this painful loss. I can only urge the people of Ikenne local government to uphold the good attributes of the late Otunba Sobo which rested truth, hard work, justice and fairness to all concerned.
Otunba Daniel then urged the family of the deceased to be  consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a life worthy of emulation.
