The House of Reps this afternoon announced that the National Assembly should take over the functions of the Rivers State House Of Assembly until such a time that peace,security and decorum is guaranteed.
The Rivers State House of Assembly had been in turmoil since yesterday with 2 factions claiming leadership,to arrest the situation,the House of Reps which had initially gone on recess had to convey an emergency sitting where the decision was taken.
